The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate were founded in 1816 by St. Eugene De Mazenod. Now nearly 4,000 Oblate priests and brothers serve the People of God in more than 60 countries. The Oblates were called “Specialists of the Most Difficult Missions” by Pope Pius XI.
The Oblates’ mission is to preach the Good News of salvation. They celebrate the sacraments, feed and shelter the poor, care for the orphaned, nurture the sick and elderly. The Oblates offer hospitality and spiritual guidance to pilgrims at holy places around the world, including the Sacred Grotto of Lourdes in Frances and the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, their spiritual home in the United States.
As Oblate Associates, we are inspired by these principals. We seek to support and share in this charism by caring for the poor, the sick and the elderly. Contact Fr. Tony for details on how you can help.
